11:05pm: Indeed! My father was originally supposed to go into the city to pick up something for Rui my sister-in-law, Big bro aka Mike is going back Japan tomorrow and hence that'll be his chance to take them.
So I caught the buses (the second one I needed to take came in as the one I was on was arriving) and got there at just before 12pm to find...
Nothing was there waiting for me! The gallery owner hadn't got the email from Rui and hadn't got the jewellery together! And son of a bitch she told me the jewellery wouldn't be ready until 4pm!
Now, I'm poor, so I didn't feel like wasting my Travel Tens going home so I could come right back out, so instead I stayed there in the Surry Hills area waiting for 4pm to come. Luckily when I spoke to Mike he pointed me in the direction of the Surry Hills Library and the computers there.
Unfortunately, the computers had shit screens and my eyeballs didn't take long to get annoyed, so I gave up that and borrowed a book to read instead.
Finally at a quarter past three I headed back to the gallery and thankfully the jewellery was ready, just five pieces! I have a terrible feeling they got that stuff together like half an hour after I left I should have told them to call me!
Anyway, luckily for me the buses were frequent and I was able to get back home in good time even taking into account I went to Dymocks and got Mum's present. I went to Rebel Sport too for golf balls for Grandpa, but alas, they only had really expensive ones, or shitty yellow cheap ones! Yellow? Seriously? It's not a mini-golf course. I'll go to different shop tomorrow.
No idea what to get M though...

My AMC just got a Digital 3D projector. I saw Avatar Thursday night. OMG such a good movie! 3 hours long, but worth the 3 hours of sleep I got that night. :p

11:23pm: Hey 2323 cool...
Anywho, to get to the subject of this post today was the family get together up at my Aunt Weed's house. Much fun was had, a good food consumed! :OD For a while it looked like it might rain so a tarpulin was put up, but then of course it didn't.
We also met Weed's new boyfriend, Bruce and his mother, they're both really nice.
However, in the end I couldn't go shopping, firstly because I had high heels on that give me blisters and secondly because we got back a bit later than originally thought so there wouldn't have been much time.
I shall go in tomorrow though.
Hmmm, I feel like I should write more about the Family BBQ, but aside from the fact it was fun there isn't much to say. The brothers played soccer with cousin Mack though, which was nice, considering the huge age gap and all! I remember my older cousins were always quite distant when I was a kid.

10:50pm: Yes indeed, for first I had to get up real early to help my friend out...I only had 6 hours sleep, horrifying!
Then I had to drive back to the parentals to drop the car off and go back to Chatswood for work. And boy was it busy! It's the last Saturday before Christmas and the place was buzzing! And there's only one cash register! Which I think is rather poorly thoughtout, but I suppose they're expensive to get.
Anywho! I brought my cousin Mack's presents and something for my father too and got a staff discount, whoo! :O)
I still need to do some shopping though, maaan I'm so slow with that. What to get my big bro and my little bro and my grandparents, eek!
Then I went to Church, which was good, Ivan was there, always fun to talk to him. But I had to walk home after that and I'm such wuss after only four hours my feet were most uncomfortable. They're better now, thankfully!
Tomorrow, is going to be another busy day, what with my Aunt's party, after which we're going Chatswood so Mum can work at the church she works at, I'll use it as an opportunity to go shopping one last time there.
I also need to print off a few more Christmas cards, I brought red envelopes to go with them and I still have some people to send them too.

10:31pm: So the parental units are back, I went to the airport to pick them up, I'm still having trouble going over the bridge, most irritating!
I went over the Bridge actually because I needed to go via the old apartment to see if any mail had come for the big bro, it hadn't, I'm sure though that I wouldn't have liked going through the Tunnel much either.
Today, I woke up really late, which is to say, my brother got me up early to help him return his rental car before 8am, and then I went back to bed when I got home and didn't arise until 12:35pm! Son of a bitch! That's some oversleeping right there, and probably explains why until about 5pm I felt all dizzy and shit. Remember kids, oversleeping is bad.
Tomorrow is my volunteer work, yay! However, the fact I'm still jobless is of great concern to the parental units, and myself while we're at it. I mean c'mon, supermarkets won't even hire me! I'm offended and disturbed here. My friend suggests it's because I'm over 18, she may have a point. I mean if it's me against an 18 year old, they'll pick the cheaper option. But that doesn't put money in my pocket damnit.
Also, when my parents got back they asked me if I'd done the one thing I was supposed to while they were out, which was put out the green waste.
And guess what I hadn't done...yep.
Shiiit, the bin is totally full. Damn my ass.

I'm pretty good with my friends and communities on LJ at the moment, if I see something really interesting though I might friend them.
As for my RPG characters I hunt for places for them to hang out, although I think they're all set now. :O)

Pretty seriously, I don't want them to look shitty or anything.

I do! It's a family institution in fact! One always knows when a gift is from my grandparent's because M saves and reuses the same wrapping paper.
3. How picky are you when it comes to selecting wrapping paper?
Not very.
4. How much attention do you pay to the way gifts you receive are wrapped?
Not very, although I always mention if they're sticky taped. :O)

With tomorrow begetting the official end to the semester of work -- and the beginning of two weeks off -- I will finally get to turn my undivided attention to PIT5 revisions. A brief rundown on what awaits me:
1) Review feedback, highlighting good points.
2) Purchase notebook, in which I dedicate 1 page/chapter.
3) List changes that I intend to make in each chapter.
4) Begin the manipulation of the document itself.
I'm pretty sure I can cross items 1 - 3 off during those two weeks (and being stuck at my parents' house when they're at work, for I will have no car at my disposal). #4, of course, requires considerably more time.
This is probably my last weekend where I can mess around sans guilt in regards to PIT5...at least for a while!

10:25pm: OK, so it was terribly hot out today, but really that's no excuse for me not going out! Oh damn so lazy, shameful! I also forgot to take my medication which is probably why I felt so weird today. Must remember to do so!
So I've been reading this community on journal fen called fandom_wank, and maaan do people wank, I should see what they have to say about Torchwood. 'Cause day-amn that was wank to the highest degree, LOL.
Yawn, I be tired...despite not having done anything, shame on me! Tomorrow it's going to be much cooler so I shall be out and about.

In other news, I woke up at almost noon today because I went and slept in my parents bed last night because my bed is kind of sucky in the spinal support catergory, so I didn't hear my alarm going off.
Anyway! I better make sure that I wake up tomorrow on time because I need to go to Centrelink (ugh) and drop that form off. Damn I hate doing that crap.

10:58pm: When I woke up this morning my back was sore...this is bad, last time my back was uncomfortable like this I managed to throw it out a few weeks later. And sweet merciful crap that HURT! On a scale of 1 to 10 that was like an 8 (to me at least), I sure as Hell don't need that.
I was a bit concerned about the dog today, she was much subdued and didn't seem to be hungry, but she seems OK now, I just have to put her out for the night.

11:15pm: Yes, yesterday was temporary work, today was voluntary work and tomorrow I'm helping a friend move. Good thing I've got my parents car, otherwise I'd be toting around in buses and whatnot.
In other news, I've had to put a band-aid on my nose! There's been some weird sort of sore on it for a week now, and it's starting bleeding. I have no idea what it is, I thought it was a pimple so I put the anti-pimple cream on it, but it didn't really work. So, band-aid on. It's very annoying...

Well, I like getting presents for the immediate family and for the past few years we've had this Kris Kringle thing for the extended family where you buy one gift and everyone draws straws as to who will go first. We also get a present for our youngest cousin Mack - which reminds me, I need to look for something tomorrow for him.
I usually buy my gifts at the shops rather than online...too expensive with the postage.
At present I'm poor, so this is a bit of a worry...

Anyone who wants my email can have it (as long as they are responsible with it AND they understand that I may not get it if I'm not online in two month's time - AOL is shady like that). I'm a rather healthy individual, considering, and I've even done a tradition 2-D piece (pen and ink) - on my birthday, no less. Everyone should stay calm :) I'm not going anywhere (and, omg, too many people in this world think I'm only about 16 instead of 25).
I still can't get mum's computer to like me - I have a digi-drawing for that story, too. Stella 4 with that inking pen of her's. If I ever get my lappy fixed up, I'll be able to get it to you.

10:01pm: Yes! From the ex-boss, apparently they need some plans done, which was my speciality in those bygone days.
Seeing as I have no job and am poor and in need of money, I agreed to come and help them out. I was there for 3 hours this afternoon and I have to go back tomorrow at 9am.
I also have to drive my parents to the airport tomorrow, I have to get up at like 6:45am or something to do that. Eww!
On the upside I'll have my parents car while they're away so I don't have to walk to work.
LJ comments remain sluggish, like a wet sponge. But I've sent both Johns under the mistletoe for snoggage, LOL! John 2 aka sniiiice has all ready had a Jack! And a young Scotty from Star Trek LOL.
hart_on_sleeve has approached one of the Eye Candys (aka Ianto) for a snog. Let's hope his nose remains intact!

Amazon.com was (is?) having a sale on stuff including Doctor Who stuff, so I ordered Season 4, the Black Guardian Trilogy and Star Trek on DVD for Christmas for me from Mom. :D It comes in on Saturday and I can't wait!
I wanted to preorder This Is It but that would've put me over the spending limit she set for me, so I'll just have to try to get that when it comes out.
I need a shower. How can it get so late so early? :/ |

11:02pm: So Mum made me clean the kitchen and there were ants in there, hate ants! I have no idea why, but seriously, when I see more than three or four of them my skin just crawls and I completely flip out! Who's scared of ants, seriously?
In other news, today I got addicted to reading this site: http://rideaccidents.com I'm slightly disturbed with myself. Of course I don't go on rides anymore (I am now a wuss) so this is not damaging me for life or whatever. Still, I'm intrigued by these investigating type things. Tonight for example Air Crash Investigation was on. Interesting stuff! A lesson in not make fuel reading things able to be put on two different planes. All sorts of fail.
Also if that website has taught me anything it's don't get on those inflatable rides, they're constantly blowing away.
It's been a quiet day RPG wise but that's because the LJ notification system is all screwed up...I'm getting notices now from five hours ago! How lame! I hope it's fixed by tomorrow.

Hmm...well, that's about all I have to say for now. Sure wish I'd get a call back from one of the places I've applied to! I mean Coles and Woolworths are starting to reject me now! This is terrible!
